Upon request, we’ll provide up to three quotes for any maintenance expense over $500. If you find a licensed and insured contractor with a better rate than ours, we’ll credit you $100 toward management fees.

24-Day Rental
When you take our recommended listing price and we are unable to provide you with pre-qualified rental applications within 24 days or less, we will give you one month of management free!

Carlsbad is a coastal city in North County, San Diego County, California, located 35 miles (56 km) north of downtown San Diego and 87 miles (140 km) south of downtown Los Angeles. As of the 2020 census, Carlsbad’s population was 114,746. Known for its appeal as a tourist destination and a hub for golf-related businesses, Carlsbad incorporated in 1952 to prevent annexation by neighboring Oceanside.
In 1959, Palomar Airport, a single-runway facility, was opened by San Diego County officials as a replacement for Del Mar Airport. It was annexed by Carlsbad in 1978 and renamed McClellan-Palomar Airport in 1982, honoring local civic leader Gerald McClellan.
Carlsbad was also a pioneer in skateboarding culture, opening the first modern skatepark, Carlsbad Skatepark, in 1976. Located at Carlsbad Raceway and designed by Jack Graham and John O'Malley, the park closed in 1979. After its demolition in 2005, the site became an industrial park, but two new skateparks have since been built in the area.
In 1999, Carlsbad became home to Legoland California, the first Legoland theme park outside Europe, currently operated by Merlin Entertainments. The company owns 70% of the park, with the remaining 30% owned by the LEGO Group and Kirkbi A/S.
Additionally, Carlsbad hosts the largest desalination plant in the United States. Completed in 2015, the Carlsbad Desalination Plant was built at the Encina Power Station site, which is now being demolished despite efforts to preserve it as a historical landmark.
