Collecting rent is simple when you have the perfect tenant who pays on time! But what happens when they don’t? It’s crucial to have someone on your side who understands tenant law and knows the correct notices to send.
If a tenant exceeds the grace period outlined in the lease, we issue a late rent notice and collect the appropriate late fees along with the regular rent amount. In the worst-case scenario, if a tenant stops paying rent altogether, we assist with the eviction process and work quickly to re-rent the property.
We make paying rent convenient for tenants with our 24/7 online tenant portal. By encouraging tenants to pay online, we can process payments faster, ensuring you receive funds more quickly.
Rent is always due on the first of the month, with a five-day grace period. If rent is not received by the fifth, it is considered late, and a late fee will be charged as outlined in the lease.
If a tenant has gone beyond the grace period of the lease we provide them with a late rent notice, where we collect the appropriate late fees along with the normal rent amount. Worse case, if we have a tenant that does stop paying rent, we will assist in the eviction process and re-renting the property quickly.
